  • Usage data — minutes of translation used, timestamps
  • IP address — stored as a hash for abuse detection (not the raw IP)
  • Browser information — user agent string for debugging
  • Payment information — processed by Stripe, we do not store card details

2. What We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not record or store video or audio content
  • We do not track your browsing history
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not use advertising trackers or cookies

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the translation service
  • To track usage against your plan limits
  • To detect and prevent abuse (token sharing, bots)
  • To send transactional emails (verification codes, payment receipts)
  • To provide customer support

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Microsoft Azure — for text translation and voice synthesis
  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) — for email delivery
  • Cloudflare — for DNS and content delivery

Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Storage

  • Account data is stored in our database
  • Translation cache is stored temporarily to reduce costs for repeated translations
  • IP hashes are stored for 90 days for abuse detection, then deleted
  • The browser extension stores your authentication token and translation cache locally

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (httpOnly) for web dashboard authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of your data
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Usage logs are anonymized after 12 months.

9. Children

Traduvi is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
